Care knows no borders!
With the Care and Career project, the BRK-Kreisverband Bayreuth has been building an international network since 2021 to attract skilled workers from around the world to work in healthcare in Germany – and with great success! Already, 74 new employees from 32 different countries have joined our BRK family and are making a valuable contribution to the care of the population in the Bayreuth region. These 74 professionals now make up around 30% of the approximately 250 nursing staff at the BRK-Kreisverband Bayreuth.
A special focus is placed on collaboration with partners in China. Through cooperation with Dalian Medical University and Gansu Medical College, 14 employees and trainees from China have already come to Bayreuth to work in healthcare. Over the course of this year, we expect 15 more employees and trainees from China to join our team.
Through this international commitment, we actively contribute to addressing the shortage of skilled workers and ensure a strong future for healthcare. A warm welcome to our international colleagues – you are a valuable addition to our team!
