In September, three trainees began their nursing training with the BRK district associations of Bayreuth and Kulmbach. They will help strengthen nursing care at the facilities operated by both district associations.
In Through the Care and Career project, launched in 2021, the BRK recruits international trainees and qualified professionals for the nursing sector. The aim is to encourage people from abroad to pursue vocational training in Germany and to offer them long-term career prospects.
Before starting their training, the three trainees attended language courses and gained initial practical experience working in the service department at the BRK Ruhesitz care home in Bayreuth. This allowed them to improve their German language skills and familiarise themselves with everyday working life in a care facility before their training began.
