The Bavarian Red Cross is both a welfare organization and a humanitarian aid organization. Our services range from civil protection and disaster response to medical and care services, including emergency rescue. In particular, the BRK plays an indispensable role in the fields of healthcare and nursing.
In addition to two residential care facilities for seniors, the BRK in Bayreuth operates a social care center that provides outpatient and in-home support for people in need – in close cooperation with our mobile services (Meals on Wheels, emergency call system, patient transport) at currently three locations.
